ADR Agreement and Rules Course
This is a two day Course for those responsible for road despatches of dangerous goods across European frontiers under ADR, either as Consignors or as Carriers.
The key Rules are studied in detail from the two volumes of ADR. Exercises at intervals enable Students to have practice in the application of the important Sections of ADR. The Course finishes with an examination for the Chemfreight DGT Certificate.
IMDG Code Course
This is a two day Course designed for Export and Shipping Company Staff, in their capacity as Shippers of dangerous goods, or as loaders of ships.
The rules are studied in detail from the two Volumes of the Code. A series of exercises give Student hands-on experience of finding the right answers from all parts of the Code.
The Course finishes with an examination for the Chemfreight DGT Certificate.
IATA Regulations Course
The UK Civil Aviation Authority requires that those involved in the shipment, packing, and acceptance of consignments of dangerous goods for air transport be successfully trained at an approved Course, and be retrained every two years thereafter.
The Course is based mostly on a detailed study of the text of the Regulations themselves. There are comprehensive written exercises at the end of each Section, and additional revision work overnight.
The Initial Course takes 3 days, and the Refresher 2 days. Both end with a formal examination.
CPC Course
This Course prepares Candidates for the quarterly OCR Examinations, to obtain the Certificate of Professional Competence for National and International Freight operations.
The Course is in three Parts. The first covers Core subjects for the Freight National, such as law, financial management, etc. The second covers Freight National transport, including licensing, construction and use, etc. The third covers Freight International, including Customs procedures, transport under CMR, etc.
The Course is timed so that the Examinations are taken immediately after the end.
DGSA Course
The Course prepares Candidates for the examinations conducted by the Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA) for the DGSA Certificate.
The Regulations are studied in detail from the texts, so that Candidates can both answer the examination questions, and give the required references.
The Course is intensive, involving 5 days classroom study and overnight work, plus other practice sessions at home before and afterwards.
